Los Angeles Fashion Week
Traditionally the third weekend of every month was considered Fashion Week in Los Angeles. But with more marketers taking notice, the event started to grow. It has since been recognized by Mayor Eric Garcetti, California State Senator Ben Allen, and the White House. LAFW will continue to honor the rich fashion industry legacy and celebrate emerging brands. It will also explore sustainability, innovation, and the entertainment industry.
LAFW is an initiative founded by Arthur Chipman, a development director at Vancouver Fashion Week. He has stayed on as the event’s producer.
The Fall collection featured low-rise denim silhouettes, micro tops, patchwork jumpsuits, and vegan leather.
